Each lymphedema patient is advised to check the credentials
and training of their therapists. There are not yet any official
training standards for CDP/MLD in the USA. However, the National Lymphedema
Network (NLN) advises on its website (www.lymphnet.org):
“ We feel that a minimum of 80
hours of instruction is desirable and that above 120 hours is ideal.”
